I believe they do.
You should be sorry. This isn't the place for review, and it's not their fault that you're rude and love finding things to complain about. Especially if getting your milkshake in two cups instead of one is the "worst service" you have gotten. They are a diner, not a michelin star restaurant. If you have such high standards, you should pay more to go to a place that meets your sense of entitlement.
Yes
Yes they do and the food is great! Big portions as well.
I just asked the server for what they have in the case.
Yes
On Tuesday evening I had there basic cheese burger & fries. Half way through the burger I noticed it was raw, red as blood. I showed the waytrice, she offered to have another one made. I said no thank you. Finished the fries. Another lady with her young daughters had the same problem. The wanted to charge me half price. I have been a customer since they opened. I will not return again.
Very 50"s retro feel. Reminds me of the show Happy Days. Best seats are at the bar! We love the crepes with peaches and cream. Fresh squeezed orange juice. And the shakes and desserts are amazing. Best food is breakfast and lunch.
Great little retro diner with a playlist to fit the vibe. Full breakfast menu, great lunch options, and solid classic dessert menu boasting green river soda as well as phosphates and traditional banana splits.
The Big Apple Diner is a great place to take the whole family. They have something for everyone, including plenty of healthy options and oldschool favorites. Delicious!
Great food, great selection.
Eggs were good, only took 3 times to cook a hamburger medium. Not the best breakfast place but good
Huge portions, great staff and an amazing menu of shakes!
50's themed diner was kinda cool, great staff
Great place to eat,I'm always full. friendly service and at prices equal to other dinners, me and wife $33 for breckfast. There are lower prices meals on menu, but I was hungry. Good place for kids and vegetarians.
Test for sit downs, quiet enough atmosphere to have a pleasant chat over breakfast it lunch. Never had any problems with their food, serving size is always generous and service is quick. Still quite active during corona, only problem you'll have is fighting the regulars for a seat.
I loved the diner feel to the place, it was like falling back in time a little. Polished crome on the booths and tables with cool 50s music in the background. The service was excellent and was seated right away. Friendly staff, with hot coffee post haste. I had the biscuits and gravy with red potato hash and eggs. The sausage gravy was excellent. Eggs were hot to the table. Overall a very good experience. I will be back
I've been eating here for over a decade. Good food at good prices and the staff has always been lovely.
Extremely pleasant staff. Clean and food servings are ample Really cute diner motif. We wound up eating there several times while staying in the area.
Really friendly service and tasty food. Milkshakes are great, fresh orange juice, had my favorite.... biscuits and gravy 😍 I can’t wait to have Sunday morning breakfast here again
Great staff. They were very attentive and polite. Food was great and reasonably priced. I'll be returning often.
God chow,good price
I absolutely love this place. Always great service and the food is consistently delicious! I've eaten here many times over the years with no issues. Highly recommend the caramel Coke!
Forgot a photo! I had the John's something with croissant, hollandaise sauce, eggs, Dutch apple pie and it was all very satisfying. My bf had the corned beef something and he was okay with it. He's going to try something else next time for a better experience. It took a while to get our food but as long as it's freshly made, we aren't going to complain. Also didn't see very much of a 50s era theme anymore like it was a few years ago. So that's a bummer. But thank you! We'll be back again. :)
Great portions. Tasty food. Moderate price.
I've been here twice. We had a large crowd of 8 people it did take a while to get seated. Once seated though the service was quick and the food tasted great. I had lemon pepper salmon filet, big Apple super burger, seafood basket, potato salad along with upside down pineapple cake.
Great food. And the Chef Troy even came out to see how everything was.
As far as fun old diners go, this is a great place. They have solid menu, and have something for everyone. If you prefer spam with your eggs, they have it, and if you miss your Mama's Liver & Onions they have that too. They also have some lovely desserts to go with that cup of coffee when you need it. Enjoy!
Waitress was horribly rude, you think during this time with Covid you would be happy to be able to work but she was just horrible. Don't remember her name but she was an older lady with shoulder length hair
We go here on occasion and have always had great food great service. My husband had a Patty Melt and it was exactly that. Melty with cheese just as it should be. French fries look as though they are hand cut. Great atmosphere, decor is from the 50's. Want a GREAT old fashioned the way it should be shake or malt. This is the place for you.
They are currently offering in person dining again, but if you're not up for that you can order from them for delivery. They wipe down the tables chairs and all, every time someone gets up and leaves. They also have the tables spaced out more, the typical bar spaces not currently available, and they are having people wait outside. Now for the bit of the review that I probably won't need to edit. This Diner has that classic 50s style and feel, with the mid-century modern metal tables and bright colors. They offer a typical Diner menu with handmade pies and milkshakes.I highly recommend the Caramel Coke and any of the dinner specials as they come along through the week.
Amazing!! Everything was great from the service to the food. Love the choices on the menu can't wait to go back.
So fun there. Great food always.
As always, the Steiners has Dependable service and reliably tasty food.
Great place for breakfast. I get their Big Apple Omelet with hashbrowns and sourdough toast. Their biscuits and gravy to also pretty tasty. If you are feeling it, order a side of gravy with your Big Apple Omelet. Coffee can be a hit or miss but the customer service is always on point.
I am not giving this five stars because I think the service, food and comfort of the diner have gone somewhat downhill. My food does not arrive hot. It's cold inside and the service is not as good as it used to be. It's not the same as it used to be which was Excellent. I doubt I will be going back. This review is given after my last three visits the last which was December 17th. All were unmemorable.
Very filling and delicious! Absolutely loved it!
My favorite diner in the area. The service is always so friendly and courteous, being attentive to every one. The selection for food is excellent, but I recommend their breakfast menu because the choices are plentiful, each being unique. The time from ordering to food being on the table seems to just fly by. Delicious dishes and wonderful service with a warm, friendly and nostalgic atmosphere. Excellent breakfast spot, even on the rainiest of days.
The food and service is amazing!! Great job guys!!
I've never seen my children eat so much so fast anywhere else. 100% of the time, my daughter requests the teddy bear pancake, breakfast lunch and dinner and is always excited to see it when it arrives to the table. My son can be picky from time to time but is never disappointed when he chooses something different from the menu. We celebrate our birthdays here and have done so for generations. This restraunt is one of the first we take our friend and family to when they come into town to visit. We will continue to come here again and again so long as the business continues
Hadn't been here for close to 20 years, so it was an almost totally new experience. Brought my oldest son for a dinner date and we arrived about an hour before closing. We sat at the high bar area (as per my child's request) and were promptly greeted by a male server. He was a cool guy, really down to earth and friendly without being fake (take note, servers! I've done your job before - a kissass gets no love from me!). We ordered a malt first and wanted to share it - totally accommodating. We were there until everyone else had disappeared around us (10 minutes past close, even) and our awesome server never once behaved like we were in his way or tried to rush us out. Overall, a very good experience and I will definitely be going back. 5/5 recommendation from this girl!
Kitchen got backed up and we had to wait a ridiculously long time which is not ideal when you have a hungry toddler but when the food did come it was soooooo good. I had trout and eggs, daughter had teddy bear pancake with a side of scrambled eggs and my mum had a garden croissant. Overall delicious and I will go back.
Amanda was our server and she was great! Made sure our cups were filled, that our food tasted amazing and had our check ready by the time we were done eating. Of course the food is always amazing, I tried the feta scramble skillet. Highly suggested
Its like home :-). Good music. Great staff.. Everything and than some is on the menu. Fresh squeezed orange juice.. Home made pie's.. Milk shake's. Gifts. Just a Great place to eat. It does get busy at time's but worth the wait!!! Enjoy
Ordered a Jim’s omelet. Received a small burrito like fold of egg.Began eating this thing, realized half way through that my omelet was nothing but egg and cheese. I had already eaten most of my meal and didn’t want to ask for the correct omelet.Disappointed, I watched in envy as my wife ate her chicken fried steak. It seems all the ingredients were in her meal.
The coconut cream pie wasn't defrosted right. The filling was wet. The meatloaf was pretty much like cafeteria food. Waitress was awesome.
Great food and service. You feel like family when you dine here.
Big Apple Diner is a great old fashion diner. Staff is friend. Great prices, large portions and delicious shakes. Breakfast all day.
Delicious food, comfort food at it's finest!! Great customer service :)
Great food, great prices, amazing portions, all around one of my favorite places to have breakfast and lunch at. Both from my youth and even today, i always love a trip here.
L💚VELY place to have either breakfast, lunch or dinner !!!! The food is delicious ✔️ and the customer service is always good ✔️ highly recommended with many different things on the menu !!!! 🤗😊😉😃 Enjoy !!!!
Awesome!!!! Service was great and food amazing also big portions for the price! Loved the older music great atmosphere. Would go there again.
Breakfast was on point. The waiters had the cutest accent. Found out shes from London. She was amazing.
Good friendly staff. Diner motif is a joy. Breakfasts were good and servings were ample. Breakfast meals are a bit pricey. In general, a good place that we ate at several occasions while visiting the area.
I love this place! They have old fashion fountain treats. Chocolate phosohates!
Easy to find just off the main road. Fantastic atmosphere and quick kind service. Clean place with many seating options including a old style bar with diner chairs. I really enjoyed my biscuits and gravy along with the wonderful clam chowder. Ordering was quick and painless with the food arriving within 8 minutes. I will definitely return and hope I get the same incredible experience again .
